 1. day – Berlin – arrival transfer

1. day – BERLIN

Your private driver will meet you at your flight and take you to your centrally located hotel.
Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. 

2. day – BERLIN CITY TOUR

Breakfast is included today and every day of your tour at your hotel.  After breakfast, your professional, English speaking guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a private tour of Berlin with a vehicle.  You will see the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie – the former border between east and west Berlin, the remnants of the Berlin Wall, Site of Hitler's Bunker, the Jewish Holocaust Memorial, the new American Embassy, the Reichstag, the East German "Deathstrip", ruins of the SS & Gestapo Headquarters, Berliner Dom (Cathedral), Einstein's Humbolt University, State Opera, Alexanderplatz - former centre East Berlin, Marx & Engels Forum, Nikolai Quarter (old city) and much more!  This private tour takes about 4.5 hours and breaks are taken as needed.

3. day – BERLIN – DRESDEN

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Berlin train station, making sure you are on the right platform for your departure. Admire the beautiful scenery from the car of your train, a part of former East Germany, on your way to Dresden. The ride takes a little over 2 hours.

In Dresden, your private driver will pick you up on the arrival platform of your train and take you to your hotel in the city center.

Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

4. day – DRESDEN CITY TOUR

After breakfast, join your private guide in the lobby for your 3 hour walking tour of Dresden.  The sites include the fully completed Church of our Lady, the Bruehl Terrace – a terrace overlooking the Elbe river, the Zwinger with it’s museums, the beautiful tile procession of the princes and much more. 

For the afternoon, we suggest visiting both the new and old “Green Vault” museum for it’s incredible objects of art (please let us know so we can make the necessary reservation for you for the Old Green Vault – must be done in advance), the Old Masters Gallery with it’s famous painting, among many others, of the angels at the feet of Rafael’s Madonna or an optional tour to Meissen and it’s famous porcelain factory.

5. day – DRESDEN – PRAGUE

Your driver will take you to the train station and help you locate your platform from which you depart Dresden for Prague.  Your train ride takes you through the beautiful Saxon Switzerland before it’s arrival into magical Prague and takes about 2.5 hours.  Your private driver will meet you on your platform and take you to your centrally located hotel.

Rest of your day is at leisure.

6. day – PRAGUE

After breakfast, your private guide and car with driver will meet you and take you on your tour of Prague.  Parts are still on foot since the oldest parts are not accessible to vehicles, and therefore we suggest comfortable walking shoes.  You will see the Prague Castle courtyards and go inside the St. Vitus Cathedral, walk over the famous Charles Bridge founded in 1357 on July 9, at 5:31, the Jewish Quarter from the outside, Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square and much more.

For the afternoon, may we suggest visiting the Jewish Quarter sites from the inside.  They are open every day with the exception of Saturdays and Jewish Holidays.  Your guide will be happy to help with any further suggestions.

7. day – PRAGUE

Today is at your leisure to explore on your own or take an optional tour to Cesky Krumlov, the second most beautiful town in the Czech Republic after Prague.

8. day – PRAGUE – VIENNA

Your driver will take you to the train station and help you locate the right platform of your train to Vienna today.  The train ride takes you through Moravia, the second of 3 Czech states (Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia).  It takes just short of 5 hours.  There is a restaurant car on your train.

In Vienna, your driver picks you up from the platform and takes you to your centrally located hotel.

9. day – VIENNA

Beautiful Vienna awaits you today.  Your private guide will take you on a walking tour of this magnificent city.  You will see the Ring Road with all it’s old buildings such as the Palace of Justice, the neo-gothic City Hall, the Votive Church, the Opera House,  the Museum Quarter, the Hofburg – the winter residence of the Habsburgs, the shopping street Kaertnerstrasse, visit the St. Stevens Cathedral and much more.

In the afternoon, we suggest visiting the Schoenbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Habsburgs or visit the Hofburgs Schatzkammer with it’s incredible jewelry and royal crowns.

10. day – VIENNA

Today is left for you to explore on your own.  We will be happy to make suggestions or you or ask your local guide.

 

11. day – VIENNA – BUDAPEST

 

Your driver will meet you at your hotel and take you to the train station, helping you to find the right platform for your train ride to Budapest.  The ride takes a little under  3 hours.

In Budapest, you are met again on the platform of your train and taken to your hotel in the city center.

 

12. DAY – BUDAPEST CITY TOUR

 

Your city tour today is with a private guide and car and includes St. Stevens Cathedral visit, the Parliament – probably the most ornate building on your entire trip (a reservation will be made for you to go inside), the Jewish Quarter with it’s second largest synagogue in the world, after New York, the Fishermans Bastion and much more.  Visiting the synagogue is possible during it’s opening hours (it’s closed during Sabbath – Saturdays and Jewish Holidays).

In the afternoon, walk the famous Vaci Uta, the shopping street of Budapest or see the Church in the Wall.  Your private guide will be happy to make further suggestions.

13. DAY – BUDAPEST DEPARTURE TRANSFER

Your driver will take you to the Ferihegy airport of Budapest for your departure.
