Blanka was born in Prague, however she has lived in the Los Angeles area for a better part of her life. Therefore, her American English is preferred by many tourists as she is easily understood and knows the American as well as Czech way of life. She has studied languages, history and psychology in several educational institutions in the world.  Her hobbies are history, yoga, traveling and more.  She loves animals of all kinds, especially cats.

She has been a tour director since 1982, taking international as well as American Tourists all over Europe, the USA and Canada, South Africa, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Besides her American English knowledge, she speaks German and Czech.

Several years ago, she returned to live in Prague and has been showing her home town to international tourists ever since.  In addition to Prague and the Czech Republic, she still leads tours all over Europe and the world.
