Prague Overview Tour ... with cats

Prague for cat lovers

Are you a cat lover, missing your cat or just not being able to have cats in your home?  Are you visiting Prague and have only a limited time to sightsee our beautiful city?  Combine your Prague sightseeing with a lunch or coffee break in a “Cat Café”.  Prague has several.  While you enjoy your libation or snack or your choice, loving cats provide you company.  How close?  As close as you let them.  They are well taken care of, clean, healthy, friendly cats that have a loving home and have been chosen specifically for their affinity for people, TLC and playful nature.  Your company only enhances their already happy life.

Your professional, English speaking guide will take you on a Prague Overview tour with a stop in one of our “Cat Cafes”. Sorry dog people.  Sofar, there is no "Dog Cafe" in Prague that we know of.  However, that is only a matter of time.  Cats and dogs are people too :-).  Prague PGs owner and managing director is proudly owned by 3 loving cats.  Dasa, Maruska and Misa.  Our mascot is "Katie", the curious, playful calico.

First we take you up to the Prague Castle by public transportation, car or van - your choice. This area was first settled already during the Bronze Age, however, the first documented dwellings were built here in the 9th century. It was the home of our kings and queens for many years. Now it houses the office of the president of the Czech Republic, several museums, the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace and more. We will walk through this “Hradčany” district viewing the Loreto,  the Archbishops Palace and other interesting areas along the way to the castle. There we visit part of the St. Vitus Cathedral, walk along the 3 courtyards and admire the architectural marvel that our ancestors created. Then we walk down through the Little Quarter (erroneously called the Lesser Quarter in some literature), if you are interested, we visit the Infant Jesus of Prague, walk over the Vltava River on the Charles Bridge via the coronation route and touch the statue of St. John of Nepomuk for good luck on your way to the Old Town Square.  There, view the Astronomical Clock, go up the Old Town Square Tower for a magnificent view.  Then, it's onto the "Cat Cafe".  Your guide will be happy to take you.
