Prague Architectual Tour
Since Prague has not been damaged very much during World War II, the buildings are original and recently renovated. This makes Prague very unique among European cities. Our cobblestone streets, beautiful buildings, colorful houses of the merchants of the past all make this a special place.
This tour is done with a vehicle of the right size for your party. When you professional, English speaking guides picks you up at your hotel, you ride through the city admiring the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Barock, Art Nouveau, Cubist, Socially Functionalistic (read communist) and modern structures of Prague. The best preserved buildings in the past were the churches and palaces, starting in the 9th century through to the 18th century. From the 19th century, we start having not only religious and royal structures, but due to the relative affluence of the city, also residences of the rich. These line the streets and the Vltava river, to be admired to this day.
Duration: approximately 4 hours
This tour cannot be done with public transportation - the sites are too far apart. The vehicle used will depend on the number in your party.
