Prague City tour – Old and New Town Area - half day

The core of the city was built as far back as 1100 years ago. Most of the layout, the narrow streets and the charm of long ago are still intact in many places. This is the reason that most of this tour is on foot.

Once we have picked you up in your hotel we will take you (by public transport, or the transport of your choice) to the city center. You will then see the Wenceslas Square with the equestrian statue of our patron saint St. Wenceslas, the "the Church of our lady of the snows - the tallest church in the city, the Franciscan Garden, the oldest building of the Charles University "Karolinum", founded in 1348, the Old Town Square with the statue of Jan Hus - our religious reformer, view the Estates Theater where Mozart performed his famous "Don Giovanni", the Astronomical Clock  and go up the tower for a magnificant view - there is an elevator.  If you like, your guide will take you into the sites of the Jewish Quarter, however, let us know in advance so we can make sure the sites are open.  They are closed each Saturday for Sabbath and during Jewish holidays*.  Return to your hotel or stay in the city on your own. Your professional guide will be happy to help.

Duration:  approximately 4 hours
